Challenges and needs
The capsules needed to be resized to fit the products and simplified from two materials to a more sustainable solution. For the kits, an exclusive material and a flexible design were requested, allowing the contents to be changed by season and product.
Our solution
We moved to a mono-material for the capsules and made the product smaller. We developed kits made up of different parts, so the insert can easily be changed and the same kit used for different seasons and products.
Results
Our solutions reduced the weight of the product, which helped lower transport costs. At the same time, the customer gained greater flexibility through a reusable kit that can be adapted over time, without the need for new tooling for every component.
